Feedback from 8/27 event and a question

Another fun event as usual. The Proxymus templete with grizzle splatter was a nice change of pace. I like the way it gets mixed up. Never really sticking to one pattern of critter keeps us on our toes and on our "A" game.

I know tonight's crowd was a bit larger than normal so there was a good bit of confusion in getting some of them to the correct place. I am not sure if the EM's today have the ability to place the group in *squelched* mode or not but if so I think maybe at the start up you could squelch the crowd long enough to tell them all they should be in the Crux channel. This would enable some of us to continue fighting/rezzing etc instead of having to make runs back to gates to escort those that have fallen by the wayside. I know you generally make the announcement, but some folks are too busy casting, or actin' a fool for them to see anything. Just something to consider.

Now for the question:

When attempting steals on tonights foes. I continually got the message "you can not steal from that". Was not sure if I was overlooking something or if they were just not allowed to be stolen from tonight. Was just wondering which it was?

Consort was truly a masterpiece.

He may have looked like Pyroxy... but it was actually a heavily modified Dark Father

Due to time, I had to have Mesanna nerf the Crystal Widow a bit and modify Consort a bit as well at half health.

It was a fun night.

There were mobs to steal from in this event, not sure if anyone successfully stole an item, but there were some of the egg cases not in bags so that they could be stolen.

If you got the "You can Not steal from that" - My guess is someone beat you to the punch

Well that makes sense now. I thought it was you spawning the rotting corpses just to give an added challenge lol.

Don't know which Dev originally came up with the idea of spamming the red "your equipment is ablaze" stuff all over the screen when a large party takes on something like Your Creation, Consort or Grizzle etc. Just wish they had built in a way for the players to turn it off. Kinda hard to heal or see what anyone is saying with all that red spamming. I was glad for the nerf on that part at halfway Ain't worried about damage done to armor, just can't stand my whole monitor being covered in the message.

Hmmmm beaten to the punch on stealing? Man there are some fast theifs on Atlantic for sure. Bucha low life, non workin', lazy folk who just wanna..... *remembers what he says applies to him also* .. err ummm what I mean to say is they are some of the most noble folk around who are merely trying to make sure nobody ever has an overweight pack issue. Folks like that should be commended for their service to the community

T'was fun - nice & spread out so not laggy. Nice work on the spider. Good tour of that part of the terrain. It is hard to keep up with where the convey is going, fortunately I've had many past travels round Exodus dungeon otherwise I'dah be long lost well before squeezing in the desert door to first level then hitting the level of the grand finale. Would not have been an easy travel or find for non-veteran players, especially getting web tossed onto the far off river.

All in all it was a fun adventure, Roomie got looting rights to the nifty cocoon so that was exciting - nice fit for their deco. Always fun to get a good chunk of players together on an outing.

Still shouldah fed the wayward one to the spider.

Ya know that would be an interesting twist to Bellatrix end and the casting off the spell on Charlotte

Put her through some of the spawn we have been through, Sort of go back to their childhood and make her watch the havoc she has caused at the same time bringing UO history into it

It would be both a hunting experience for us at the same time as a puzzle to solve for those that enjoy deciphering and quizes

It would probably take a couple of events to get through it all, but im sure the Crux Ansata are up to the task.

I especially enjoyed the combination of the Dark Father undead-spawning ability and the fact that we were in Ilshenar. Nothing like a paragon lich lord or two to keep the level of chaos high, and even the plain vanilla wraiths and skeletons could drag away an EV, fizzle a spell, or draw a flamestrike off of the boss.
