Thats what i was thinking, but my cu has 150 something stamina and it doesn't do what others can do lol.Pets with more than 125 stamina will move faster than those without.
I'm not sure at exactly which values the pets start moving faster... but my rune beetle (160 dex) can keep up with me even when running!
i have some pets that do this, it seems they're on top of something faster than i can finish saying "all kill"I've heard rumors of 'pre-patch' Cus that move so fast it looks like they teleport to people.
I've never seen one in action, and I wouldn't even know how to verify it was one if someone said they were selling one.
They do have 125 dex... but mine has 150 something stamina. Mouth zipped. However, it is not fast. i just saw a gdragon in yew btw that was absolutly flying, and it had 138 dex, and was obviously blessed. so i dont think this is the case.its the dex/sta.. only a few pets can exceed 125 dex and they must be above it prior to taming. such as rune beetle.
cu's, which, i have not messed with in a while due to getting rid of my elf tamer, from memory their dex is above 125 but it gets truncated to 125 post tame, leaving them the same speed as other pets. too bad because a fast Cu, while lacking spells, would be nasty. they hit hard and are tough.
You used to be able to curse tame pets that had their dex halved after taming, such as greater dragons or cu sidhe. The result would be stamina that was higher than 125 after taming. Those pets would be faster than normal pets of that species would be. I don't think you can do that anymore.its the dex/sta.. only a few pets can exceed 125 dex and they must be above it prior to taming. such as rune beetle.
