Fallen Mystic Spellbook Question

My Question is if i can use this awsome fey slayer mystic spellbook on my regular mage for the fey slayer mod at lady meli or does it only work for mystics?If mages can use it too makes it alot more usefull and awsome so ill keep it Great other mods on it too!
