where is the best place to collect faery dust?... i haven't seen any at all from the changelings or pixie corpses at all at twisted weald location... are there other places?

I think the drop rate for faery dust is a lot better in the silver sapling area. Plus if you die, you can rez at the silver sapling tree.

Keep an eye on your karma.
Killing fairies drops karma and once you drop into negative karma those little pixies will attack on sight.

A few at once ain't nothing but the whole gang at once can be painful.
Don't ask how I know

You don't lose karma for killing the pixies in the abyss, but you do for killing the fairy dragons.
