Faction Traps Broken??

OK, I am returning to Factions after a LONG break, I dusted off my trapper and set about to trap the TB base, Lo and behold all I get is the need to be in a faction town message, OK no problem I head off the the end of the bridge in the area near the Faction sign up stone and get the message You cannot place that there.

Is Faction Trap Placement broken or has it changed since I left Factions?

It was reported that the last publish that put guard zones back into faction towns that it had caused somed issues with placing traps in towns as well. I thought they had fixed it tho with the last patch/publish since it only had two items:

Improved server stability

Resolved various issues with faction towns.


If they didn't fix the trap issues then what did they fix...placing guards or maybe getting guard whacked in the TB base.

They also made changes in that area to prevent certain traps from being placed on the bridge.

i had my trap remover out last night and was pulling traps out all over brit and TB.

didnt seem to be any problems placing for the guys that put them out.

im thinking that you must have been trying the entrance bridge and the entrance area out front.

those area's where killed off last year as a no place zone.
