I don't even see a trail leading into the one on the top left, sure it comes close, but if you look, it doesn't really reach it entirely, and is blocked by a bit of mountains.

Perhaps it ends yup being like a "cave". If I am not mistaken, the top art files do not show cave systems, only entrances to them.
