Faction Items and Faction Points

Since now everyone is carrying mule with 340483320430 pts or at least 300 pts... is it possible to take away the faction items that require RANK to wear?

Because I lost my internet at home for about 3 weeks now and not able to play. Now I am in office and checked that the faction status in all shards are really ridiculous....

Hopefully, you could take away the Rank 10 requirement to wear certain faction items.

As faction points are really pointless and really proves nothing at all at this stage.

I can definately see where you're coming from, more and more people are finding out how to farm those points that get you that high and makes it harder for the honest players to get any higher in rank because of it, but I can also see how that'd be a problem, as more and more people will only be joining for the items, not that 90% of them already are.

Yeah how the @£$$€ is a non cheating plaayer gonna hit rank 10 , when all the freaking cheaters farm there own and there mates toons 24/7 . I got enough accounts , so I could set up 40+ toons just for point farming but why the hell should I , just because some lowlifes keep cheating in this game ... no freaking way ........

Possibly just change how rank works. Say.. you have to have over X kill points to be rank 10 instead of a percentage.

It still looks like the vast majority of the point problem is still contained to a couple Asian shards and it looks like LA is or was starting to rapidly gain points, but still it just takes a couple to people to ruin it for everyone else.

TBH who cares about people having an isane level of points? , we all know they are just farmers and they are just letting us know what they are its just a way to show us how useless they are in the battle field and they are so stupid that they feel proud of it.


But Im really concerned about how easy its to keep rank 10 and how easy is to get the faction arties , basically anyone can join factions get rank 10 and go trammel with superb arties for less than 10% of legacy arties price. Just an example all my chars wear now a crimson something that just a few weeks ago I just couldnt simply afford.2K silver for a crimsom its just stupid as I can get 2 K silver in just 30 minutes killing daemons compared to how hard is to get them from peerles bosses its just ridiculous.

They made the real crimsom totally worthless.


So reaching rank 10 its so easy, getting all arties you need is so easy , are we playing a 5 years old children game?????

When changes to factions came up I thought it would be really hard to reach rank 10 , but alas!!! I was rank 10 the 2nd day , I also thought that faction items would be really hard to get but alas!!!! I had all the arties I needed the 3rd day , so where is the challenge??

Factions are boring now, no one cares about sigils all people just joined to get arties and do PvP. Faction wars are dead but PvP has a last sigh of relief before Dark Fall reaches final release.

Faction arties were a good idea, but poorly implemented. I think they should be easy to get. These arties enable new players, and poorer players, to have the same quality gear as the dupers/scripters.

Farm silver for a few hours and you can have a top of the line suit, as long as you can keep your points up.

As for the trammies getting them and leaving, simple solution. Open up faction PvP to trammel. It should already be in trammel. You consent to join factions, you consent to PvP.

No one is guarding sigs because there is no point. You only own the town for 6 hours, after 4 hours of guarding no one wants to play for 4 more hours. By the time you log on again sigs are corrupted.

If they have no plans of opening Tram up to faction PVP, then at least have it where the faction gear can't be worn in Tram. Otherwise, what is the point of doing peerless or doom, when you can join factions do a little bit or nothing to get the level 1 items and never step foot in Fel again.

Faction arties SHOULD be easy to get. Enable faction fighting in Trammel for anyone with faction arties equipped. :bowdown:

Apparently there are people who can't get the rank they need because their top ranked person has 4086754026026542650 kill points and rank goes by a % of the top. That is why people care.

The rank system had been broken. I am not sure it still is or not.
I have NO idea why this "known issue" is being allowed to progress the way it has.

i think they should have wiped faction points when the new items came out. or at least wipe them when they get the farming under control. people would cry but its not hard to get right back to rank 10 even if you do it legit.

I agree that factions should flow over to tram, when you join factions it's to war other factions.

I would also like it if guilds werent aloud to join, if you join a faction, that should be your guild. I'm sick of getting killed by my own faction. On my shard 2 large guilds are in my faction, they both kill me on sight. And it's always 5 or more of them on me.

I still not able to log onto my internet up to this day to see.

I have earned my kill points hard by killing, stealing sigil, etc.. yet, just few days and I am 10000000000 miles from those who do not need any effort to wear these craps.

Honestly, if this point system is messed up, I suggest just take away the stupid kill points system and let everyone able to purchase the faction items already with enough silver.

Speaking of fact, no matter how well you control, how hard to avoid. Trammel people (non pvpers) are going to have WAYs to get these items.

So instead of avoiding it, just let everyone purchase it and wear the same gear to fight it out.

Trammel people having the same gear as Pvpers do not have any affect to Pvpers in Felucca at all. So I rather have everyone wearing UBER gear than having NEWBIES wearing UBER gear while not need to do anything at all.

There is a decent amount of fighting over the towns on my shard. It is nice to have a few oportunities in a day to steal towns instead of haveing to wait three days and not log on at all.

Rank 10 is pretty easy to get. Atleast on most of shards, dunno about those farmer shards. Devs are working on fixing the pointsystem atm.

Howcome I still see people running with their 13223434343 pts...

Oh well, this system is totally messed up consider that 90% of the top points people are not pvping in my shard or any other shards...

This is really sad.

I say just remove this kill points crap.
