Faction Flags

Can we add flag poles to strongholds of all the factions. Once a character from an enemy faction gets close to the flag pole, the flag begins to lower.
This alerts all members of the faction.

For example: if someone enters the TB faction stronghold and stands by their flag it begins to lower. Everyone in TB gets a message that the flag is being taken over. This could be spammed over the duration it takes the flag to completely drop. They could then begin to send their flag up onto the pole.

Points could be given for takeover and points could be given for recovery. The flag could be set near the Sigil so that when the enemies enter the territory the faction players could be alerted.

The main reason for factions in my opinion was to bring guilds together, forming a people for the same cause.

The second should of been to capture the flag and protect it. I just really think this would add to the faction not take away from it. It is important that people become more involved and this would definately, just by simply alerting them and giving them reason to fight.

I'm not saying anything currently should be changed, i'm only asking for an enhancement to that this is additionally added.

I think that'd be cool. Some kind of message alerting you that someone is in your base.

Honestly, who sits at their base 24/7 waiting for someone to come in to steal sigils, and then notifies everyone.

It could be like King of the Hill/Capture the Flag.

What would be the benefits of capturing the flag though? Just gotta make sure it's not something that could be farmed.

I'll tell you who. The TB alliance on Great Lakes. It's a bunch of 80 year olds that sit around their house all day on theives. They steal sigs, sit by the computer waiting for someone to take them while they watch Murder She Wrote, and collect social security.
