I have heard that factioneers do not suffer stat loss in Heartwood. I need some factioneer not in Minax to come to Heartwood and help me determine if this is true on Siege.

Yeah, I read that too. Maybe I'll try it if I can ever run away. So far, my faction battles usually involve either:
1. being dismounted and munched
2. being munched and dismounted
3. people who can run circles around me on foot when I'm mounted

On the positive side it will allow duels between factioniers without statloss. Were the points/silver affected?

So, the warriors know the advantage of terrain. This is nothing new.
The developers knew about Factions stat loss and did not want it to occur
at Yew Elven gate there. The developers just did not say anything about it.
No need to know!
