Same tibs... you running vista?
Nope, XP. it patched up fine on my daugther's computer but not on mine. I think hers has vista.
So hopefully they will be sending something else out that should fix it?
Im having the same issue. Windows vista here as well.

Vista 64 bit here and no issues
Windows 7 here. Would not patch. Had to uninstall/reinstall. NOTE: I copied out my macro files first so I can drop them back in. After reinstall, patched fine. Just saying.....tried everything else I could think of before doing that.
If you do have two computers, and one patched, you could copy the entire directory from the patched machine to the other and it should work.
Edit to add, Windows 7, 64 bit.

Working on a Vista 64 bit machine and Vista 32 bit machine.
Getting similar error gibberish as Scuzzlebutts on a XP home one.

I got mine working for 30mins then in middle of luna crashed as my teamates tried to get me hidden. finally my character logged 
... so now im reinstalling uo... DARN YOU EA

I haven't logged off yet , but im running vista 32 bit, so i'm kinda scared to even try.
Exactly! and it is still not fixed. I guess I will need to re-install.

After exhausting all other methods I broke down and reinstalled. Not too bad after the intial download, only a few patches to get you current.
