With the recent influx of new players since the Free-to-Play launch, we have taken some steps to combat server performance issues about which you can find out here:
One of these solutions included a limitation on how many players can be logged in a single zone at a time. An unfortunate consequence of this is the ability for a guild or alliance to fill the zone with their players and thus prevent their opponents from joining the zone in order to participate in the GvG fight. As of now, we consider this to be an exploit and abusing it will be sanctioned as such. If your GvG team is a victim of said exploit, please reach out to [email protected]
GOING FORWARD
Please note that sanctioning players for this exploit is only a temporary measure. We will be increasing the cluster limit with tomorrow's maintenance and we are working on a long-term solution, which will allow players to participate in GvGs regardless of the zone player limit, but unfortunately we don't have an ETA as of yet.
