There's been a lot of really amazing creature designs come out since ~2009. This one and the crimson dragon (and bouras; I'm not sure why) are probably my favourites. Not sure when the shift happened, but the models seem to be getting more and more detailed and intricate, and I really like it.
...designing monsters wouldn't happen to be one of your favourite parts of the job, would it?
LOL - both the Crimson dragon and the Boura (normal and Armored) are also my designs!
Yea, designing creatures is really one of the best aspects of my job.
