EXODUS Help and Advice please ;)

Hello all I would like some skilled advice on what character builds are necessary to run Exodus and how a party of 2 or 3 can best defeat it?

I saw a video where 2 players had Exodus stuck in a pit and an archer defeated him with a backup healer from behind. I'd really like to know how they got him in the pit and how that works exactly. Here's the video.
