But it never actually gives you an exit survey....As i'm shutting down most of my accounts right now (possibly my one remaining account in the near future) I would LOVE to provide feeback as to why, but much like the "report bugs" link in the herald there seems to be no working way to leave such feedback.

Also, it's a bit insulting that even on the cancelation page it thanks you for playing dark age of camelot....

dunno if it's the reason tina had so many, but I closed 5 myself, siege, 1 char per account. (though total accounts i own is probably closer to 20, I ended up with a ton of them back before ML for next to nothing, and rotated them to play different groups of characters (this was back when soulstones had 24 hour timers) )

Actually the majority of players on siege I have known have 4+ accounts in the least.

I'm dead serious about the first post though, I really would like to send EA feeback, maybe if they actually knew why so many players were leaving the game they'd actually fix some of the issues and it would be worth playing on OSI servers again (money talks, posts on stratics threatening to quit are one thing but an actual feedback form attached, and only able to be filled out when you actually DO quit could say a lot more)

Good luck! I ran into the same problem--would like to leave feedback on a game I have played for almost 12 years. I canceled 3 accounts in the last month. I will continue to play my 2 original accounts, but right now I am having a blast in Skyrim!---too bad UO can not look as good as Skyrim.

Things look promising in the latest publish, so I am keeping my mind and options open

well, the general idea of an exit survey is to get a idea of "common" reasons that people choose to stop being your customer, when a lot of exit surveys specify the same or similar things...well....probably a good idea to look into fixing that. Not taking a survey at all EA has no idea why people are quitting UO

Hate to break it to you EA doesn't care why people are quitting UO.

I don't feel like this sort of thing is a route to success, whatever that success may be envisioned as.

When I think of what should be turned around and made right in UO, it all comes down to money being put toward it. Money not to just hire more people - - but to hire the right people and empower them to be able to do their thing (those last parts are really important).

The deal about EA doing THAT is that the investment must seem likely to pay off.

I wonder about this supposed UO China thing? A rumor I heard around here somewhere, and an encouraging one if it is true. The effects from such a thing could be positive from the perspective of the european/USA players. If EA starts getting a nice little bankroll coming in from China, maybe that means more money for the UO devs and support ppl, and then THAT could mean things get better. But then again .. in context of what just happened in WoW, it could be great for us as long as the content were kept sensible from our perspective (playable kung foo panda, anyone? ).

I dunno if the exit feedback has been disabled personally... I do trust the folks that say so. While I am not there yet, I am not far away. I for see cutting down to just the only one account that matters on Siege soon. I have six... yeah I know.

The powers that be, while do some really good things, have failed on some levels.

I will bet just about every Dev still working has some thoughts on Siege/Factions/PvP/Risk vs Reward. I could go on... but there is no point in doing so.

If any player leaves the game... Tina, Raptor, kelmo... I would expect the opportunity for some final feedback. I would expect that The "Company" would wish to know. If just for reference material. I dunno...

I hope the good things Jeff promised aren't long in coming. Every time I hear of another account closing these days, I start to worry about the real "Grim Reaper" coming for UO.

For me, it boils down to too little communication from the developers on any plans to revitalize or pay attention to PvP, factions, Siege/Mugen, new player experience, and just about anything that doesn't somehow tie into UO's primary activity these days (i.e., acquiring, transporting, selling and buying stuff for insane amounts of gold or RL money).

Whether you're actually in the game playing or you're browsing on Stratics, it just feels like anymore (to me, at least) you're regarded as some kind of an oddity or rabble rouser if your biggest concerns about UO don't revolve around somehow making yourself "rich" by expending the least possible amount of time or effort or if you aren't one of the "cool kids" who hangs out with the EMs and Mesanna. There's nothing wrong with either one of these things, if that's the way you like to play. Neither appeals to me, though, and never have. However, anymore it just feels like both aspects of UO are what matter most to many of the folks who still play and therefore are the things that get and will continue to get the most attention from the dev team. And if that is the way Jeff wants things to continue, well then I wish him much success in hanging onto and attracting players that enjoy that sort of stuff. It just really isn't the sort of stuff I find enjoyable and I'm tired of getting beat up about it every time I say something that folks don't like.

For having seen Tina put ultimate effort into re-building siege community, many accounts, tons of hours given selflessly...

I'd say this is more painful than any wound I ever got.

She is an example of others people playstyle tolerance, she's an example of patience and perseverance to me ; she has a hearth in her home. She would never say such a thing *quoted above* unless it was driven right through her mind, and I mean driven like a piledriver...

And when I see people being paid to develop a game, ignoring a hearth and filling in wallets. I feel hurt...

Deeply hurt, not that it really matters if lil old ahu is hurt... but he is.

When I look at the bigger picture I cannot get my mind to grasp a logical explanation of what is going on here.

How can you make the most tolerant and patient player our community ever knew, feel insulted so much that she needs to "get away"...

we're not talking about closing an account or a few in protest here... we're talking about feeling so insulted you need to simply get away from it for a while...

As I said something is very wrong here... I feel like some big cannon is aimed straight at Siege...

Someone named Amy pointed out this thread to Jeff Skalsi on Twitter and his reply on Twitter was: "Thanks for bringing this to my attention Amy. Looking into it. I Definitly want to hear their feedback disgruntled or not."

I hope he means it.
