Exceptionaly made jewelry

I give up  after reading through 50 pages & using the search option I'm gonna ask this stupid question:arr: What is the difference between using an exceptional crafted piece of jewelry over just a regular piece when imbueing :please: The tinkering menu shows regular jewelry made with just ingots is the only one that can be exceptionaly made, but I also remember reading that certain gem made jewelry not magical like (citrine, sapphire, diamond etc) were supposed to be used when imbueing but those can't be made to be exceptional.:wall: any help is appreciated.

the small gems are used in imbuing, not as jewellery. Exceptional rings and bracelets are needed to fit the full imbuing weight of 500. Non exceptional can only have 450

All Rings and Bracelets, regardless if exceptional or not, can be imbued to 500 weight.

Thanks for your answer petra but on the tinker gump under jewelry (not magic) you'll find citrine, dia, ruby etc along with ingots to make those pieces, I neglected to say I've been imbueing with jewelry that's not exceptional & have been getting 500 weight on em all. I guess my question is now ( after reading your little jab at us dum noob's) :dunce: What's the difference if I use an exceptionally made 1 or not?
