Exceptional Leather Pieces...

What is the best NORMAL Leather Exceptional peice you have made for Imbuing?

I made a piece with 16 Phy X Fire X Cold X Pois 8 Energy, and a piece of X Phy 15 Fire X Cold X Pois 9 Energy.

I also used a Spined kit to make a pair of sleeves that are X Phy 25 Fire X Cold X Pois X Energy.

X = Resists below 8.

The pair from the spined kit could be enhanced to 28 Fire resists...(using Horned). THat pair used 1 imbue spot, NO other mods yet. THe 1st two have no mods either..

I am amazed how much leather I can burn to try to get an exact match to fill a suit sometimes, but I want it to be perfect so maybe I am too pickey...

Anyway, has anyone ever made a 10/10/10 X X peice from normal leather, or a 16/9 or 16/10 peice? I bunred thru 20 K leather to get the ones above, recycling 90% of the peices (anything where the top 2 resists did not = 22 (unimbued, normal leather).

The most resists that an exceptional regular leather piece can have total is 35 (except on SP, where it is 38)

a 10/10/10/x/x piece isn't possible for a human/elf piece, as the x's would be 3 each (and that would add up to 36). In fact, any piece that didn't have fire as one of the 10s, or a piece that does have 10 in physical, is impossible to have 10 in 2 other resists.

Theoretically, you could have an 2/10/10/10/3, 2/10/10/3/10 or 2/10/3/10/10 piece, but that would be an obscenely long shot.

Studded Leather and Bone have one additional resist, but aren't medable (and bone isn't recyclable), but would be more possible (As in one every few 10 thousands, as opposed to being one in millions).

Similarly, 16/10/x/x/x would HAVE to be 16/10/3/3/3 (With all 20 points falling in physical & fire) - that's even less likely. Having the 16 elsewhere, and having 2 or 3 in physical, is more likely, but still less likely than you winning a lottery reward in the 6 digits.

That piece from a spined kit is impressive - that's a runic bonus at or near max (most likely IS max) plus over half the exceptional bonus when crafting with a runic (15+ 6 out of 11 possible exceptional, most likely).

As I don't have a Sampire, I don't really need the 25 Fire piece, so if anytone is interested it is for sale on Atl. I could enhance/Imbue to your liking as well.
