2/21/2019 – The rangers spoke to Shamino about Jonny’s advice to seek out Geoffrey to help with the situation with Jhelom, and Shamino mentioned that while he had not seen the great warrior in some time, he was aware of a recent finding in the Stygian Abyss, a so-called “Trial of Courage” whose apparent purpose is to test the resolve of those that dare to enter it. As for Geoffrey, Shamino stated, he was one to seek out these kinds of trials to test himself, and thus there may be a reasonable chance that the rangers would be able to locate him there. In truth, the Trial of Courage was not a true test of courage but rather one mage’s killer puzzles to separate him from a world which frightened him, and where he died alone.

After speaking with the rangers, Geoffrey agreed to help them with the troubles in Jhelom, as it was a town he loved. Before parting ways, Geoffrey said he would call to the rangers once he would need their assistance.
