PaxLair City was founded on January 19, 1998 in the meadow west of the Compassion Shrine on Felucca. Throughout its history, it served with other player-towns to help communities and people work together. In the old days before Trammel, PaxLair was a vibrant crossroads for good, neutral, and evil. It is blessed by the gods with unique indoor and outdoor features. On November 11, 1998, Lord British himself visited PaxLair City to honor the city's founders. PaxLair is the oldest, continuously running "player-town" on the Chesapeake Shard.
Today, PaxLair is a Statehood of three wonderful cities: PaxLair City, Dragons Watch, and PaxOku. Each city is unique and brings different wonders to the Realm through citizens, allies, and friends. PaxLair is based on tenets of Peace, Neutrality, and Roleplaying.
Locations - Most events are easy to find. If you need help getting to PaxLair City or Dragons Watch, the Tea House in PaxOku has several teleporters.

Directions: From Homare-jima Moongate, go NE to the end of buildings on the road (Monks Crossing).

Thursday, January 14, 2010 - Opening Ceremonies
- 9 PM ET - Opening Ceremonies
- Host: Governor Winfield

- 9:20 PM ET - Knowledge Quest Starts
- Host: Tatania Karthina
- Location: Twin Towers, PaxLair City, Felucca (for information)
- This quest runs the entire duration of the Anniversary Week. It is an individual quest that can be started at any time. It will involve following notes and clues to different places, and getting prizes along the way.
- There is no specific "event" at the end of this quest, since can be completed at any time by those on the quest. But, bragging rights will be honored at the Statehood Dinner on January 19th.
- 9:30 PM ET - Archery Tournament (Preliminary #1)
- Host: Se'an Silverfoot (Army of the Dragon, ATD)
- Location: Luna Fairegrounds
- 4 top archers advance to the Final Tournament on January 19th, and they do not compete in other Preliminary tournaments. Losers can compete in other Preliminary tournaments. High score is counted at the end of the tourney and the highest score from all 4 days will win 1 million gold
- Prizes for this Preliminary:
- 1st - 100 K gold - advance to finals
- 2nd - 50 K gold - advance to finals
- 3rd - 25 K gold - advance to finals
- 4th - 10 K gold - advance to finals
- 8:30 PM ET - Twists and Turns
- Host: Irysa Tarian (Heart of the Crest, *CH*)
- Start Location: Luna Fairegrounds
- A unique adventure through the lands, on foot, that involves quick thinking. Some places may be dangerous, but passable. People will have to work together to succeed in solutions.
- This will not be held in Felucca.
- Some danger is involved. Don't bring anything unblessed or uninsured that you can't afford to lose. There will likely be deaths at times.
- Will be walking on foot so stable your pets.
- Will be concluded by 10:30 PM ET
- 9 PM ET - Archery Tournament (Preliminary #2)
- Host: Se'an Silverfoot (Army of the Dragon, ATD)
- Location: Luna Fairegrounds
- 4 top archers advance to the Final Tournament on January 19th, and they do not compete in other Preliminary tournaments. Losers can compete in the next Preliminary tournament.
- Prizes for this Preliminary:
- 1st - 100 K gold - advance to finals
- 2nd - 50 K gold - advance to finals
- 3rd - 25 K gold - advance to finals
- 4th - 10 K gold - advance to finals
- 10:30 PM ET - Clompin
- Host: Ga'kuct (Orc) and PaxLair City
- Location: Chaos Tower, PaxLair City (just west of Mage Tower)
- Depending on how many show up and who, may have duels and/or team fights. No looting, no rez killing.
- 7 PM ET - Neeky Race
- Host: Pitmuck Goblin Mob
- Location: Twin Towers, PaxLair City, Felucca
- Race from Twin Towers to Britain, on foot. Route will be announced at the event.
- Details: Have to stay on the route, some goblins will be checking. Run on foot, not horses. If you die, find nearest wandering healer and then continue on the route. You may not run the entire route as a ghost.
- 8 PM ET - Let's Make a Deal
- Host: Dragons Watch
- Location: Community Center, teleporter is at Tea House in PaxOku
- Bring bags full of miscellaneous items, like carrots, wands, christmas cards, etc. One never knows what might be needed in this game!
- 9 PM ET - Archery Tournament (Preliminary #3)
- Host: Se'an Silverfoot (Army of the Dragon, ATD)
- Location: Luna Fairegrounds
- 4 top archers advance to the Final Tournament on January 19th.
- Prizes for this Preliminary:
- 1st - 100 K gold - advance to finals

- 7 PM ET - Tour of Unique Places

- Location: PaxLair Statehood Museum and Tavern, PaxOku (18x18 house located just north of the Kijustsu Anei Village banner)
- 8 PM ET - Archery Tournament (FINALS)

- 12 finalists compete: 4 top archers from each of the 3 previous preliminary tournaments.
- Prizes:
- 1st - 3 Million gold, trophy
- 2nd - 1.5 Million gold
- 3rd - 500 K gold

- Speeches, diplomacy, good food, and good spirits!
- Dinner will be in an open-hall format, casual, not formal dining. So talking among different groups and people will be easier than a sit-down dinner.
