10/31/2018 – Many adventurers gathered once again at the call of Faolan the Druid, who in the past two years has brought adventurers together for the Ritual of Passage. However on this occasion Faolan stated that the Ritual of Passage was beyond them, for the spirits had been made restless to the point of madness due to the works of dark magic. The only possible answer, Faolan claimed, was that the spirits would need to be pacified, by force if need be. Prior to the adventurer’s arrival he had erected two totems in the area that would serve as a beacon to the souls of the dead, and as the druid began his ritual the souls did indeed arrive at the totems. The adventurers were thus compelled to subdue the spirits, fighting the seemingly endless waves until the spiritual presence in the area began to relax. However once it began to relax, two necromancers emerged from the wood, whose work had undoubtedly led to this calamity, and sent the adventurers on a riotous battle through the forest. Nevertheless, the two necromancers were put down and a peace, however uneasy, returned to the Deep Woods.
