As we gathered Sunday the 2nd of august 20.00 GMT, Nathan had interesting news for us. The body of One-Eyed Pete had washed ashore (See: One-Eyed Pete May Have Drowned) and it was rumored that a note with coordinates leading to Pete's treasure had been found on the body! Nathan urged us to find this treasure and keep it safe.
We hurried to the spot, but Pete's body was nowhere to be found. Instead we found dragon scales and an arm with teeth marks. The Demon Temple was not far, so we suspected the dragons had snacked on Pete's dead body! We were right. Inside the dragon basement we found a note.
The note gave us the coordinates to a place where Pete was supposed to collect a payment. The coordinates (159o 47S 73o 28E) pointed to a small island off the Trinsic coast.
As we arrived at the island we found 3 pirates and their colorful, talking parrot. They responded to various keywords and certainly knew Pete. The Parrot kept talking about hidden treasure while the pirates kept telling it to shut its' beak!
The Pirates mentioned a good friend of Pete called ”William the Fence”. He was definitely a man we needed to talk to. We tried to locate him but to no avail. We called it a night and went each our separate ways. Yet, the search is far from over. Perhaps the coming days will reveal new clues as to the whereabouts of William the Fence and Pete’s hidden treasure.
