Just above a 1000 points for the Bane faction, but I gave up on the event after getting tired of the fact that the side that I was fighting for wanted to kill off my greater dragon throughout the event. My main character is a tamer, I don't have specific characters trained as dexers or mages, so I stopped bothering...

That's it exactly. I wanted the bane stew, but now I don't need it. Other than that, no - there really is no point that the very confusing story line hinted at.

Yeah. It all just seems like busy work to me. I killed some bane on one character and some Ophidians on another character the first time around, then they do the same exact thing elsewhere? (While making some of the rewards from the first round buyable? lol...)

I guess +5,000 is the new cap? Old cap was 2,500? You still only need 1,000 to do power crystals, right?

I guess -15,000 or more for other cap.

No point whatsoever. I got to 2000 loyalty to the Meer just in case this plotline isn't a dead end.

It'd be nice if someone would tell us whether or not we should continue to care about the Bane in the short term, or if we can write them off as another failed plot point.

Depends on what they are up to.
Maybe open new vendors who need loyalty points to buy things?
Or items like Orc masks so the specific monsters do not attack you.

I am sure allot of work and thought went into this event and if I really gave it a chance I might like it. However it just honestly has zero appeal to me and doesn't really draw me in to learn more about it.

Why should I care who and why they are battling? They are battling in areas that have zero affect on the game. I rarely go to any of those areas and they are not affecting anything I am doing. They are not threatening any of my townships and there is no one controlling a RP character that I can interact with from each side.

Now the Britain city invasion I was all excited for and had a blast! I know my post doesn't sound very encouraging and probably looks like a complaint. I am not complaining, nor asking for anything to change. I am just explaining why mine are all at 0. I just don't see the point in doing the event. (Perhaps I am missing something?)

I lost interest after I got Bane arms on 2nd chest and 2 Blackrock stews - one for initial stabling of Bane dragon and one to keep as deco item.

The Ophid reward has little value except to Collectors. Too much trouble to search cluttered Bane bodies for CBR.
