[Throwing] Evasion & Throwing?

Does evasion work with throwing? A buddy and I tested out 120 Throwing, 120 parry, 120 bushido... with and without a shield... evasion didn't work.

Are we doing something wrong? Perhaps you need a 2 handed gargoyle weapon for evasion to work?

Evasion has never worked nor is it intended to work with ranged weapons.
(Also if you equip a shield, bushido becomes a penalty against your defense chance.)
