I’m guessing the rarity drop is similar to the stealables from the totem event. At least these are in one location and respawn so thank you devs. With life comes limited playing time.

We have like 2 full months more of the event, so plenty of time to find some. Just make sure you have your stealing skill up to 120 in order to remove them from the chest.
I have extra’s of the skull totems to trade for the prisms, in case they were not around for those.

I just don’t want to know if/when someone lands a prism after they snipe the chest I detected and have been walking in circles to reveal.
I bought 2 at 175M sitting on a vendor within past couple days. Even tho they may be rare, doesnt seem to be that expensive.
I FINALLY got one this morning in the city chest, it took days of sneaking around trying to get one,
Do you need to have stealing also to get these? I use just lock pick, able to open boxes, assorted stuff only. Also does LUCK make any difference? Most important for me would be the stealing question, as I have no stealing at all.
it says right in the patch notes that luck will help with these.
Hidden Chests
- Use Detect Hidden to locate and reveal chests across the city and within The Depths
- Chests may reward gems, reagents, artifacts, rubble, maps, rare deco, or one of four uber-rare stealables
- Luck increases your odds of rare stealables
- Chests are locked to the revealer and their party for 2 minutes, then become free-for-all
- On Abyss ruleset shards (Siege/Mugen), looting during this time flags as criminal
I got one about 10 days ago. I had 2200ish Luck - largely from luck statue rub - and I have 120 real skill steal. I updated to a 4000ish Luck suit (during Luck hour but have not got another prism; however, I get increased materials in the gem bags. Almost lost it because I forgot i had that "branch" wand equipped in my shield hand. I'm making a 2nd thief but I will be using items to reach the 120 Steal skill.

Are you speaking from experience? I thought I saw someone on ATL say they missed out on one because they didn't have 120 real.... I vaguely remember seeing that from the Devs but maybe that was an in general message about certain things....
I only have 60 natural skill and use items to get me to 120, worked fine when I stole mine from the chest.

the only clear issue is when you fail a few times and the chest relocks itself.
you'll get a message like "you cannot steal this item"
you just need to unlock the chest again and it will work just fine. i think some people have lost a prism because they didn't realize they needed to unlock it again

it's almost the end of the event, and I still have yet to get an obelisk or a prism.
I average 2x a day on the spawn, and about 50ish chests per day. (trust me, I tracked for a long while). Tons of cubes and banners. Like, probably more banners than I think most people have. Additionally, they are only showing up on..... my one character not the second, as AS I was typing this I just realized i have a half of a luck suit on that character and not the other.
Can anyone confirm luck works for bag drops or not? I know they mentioned it for the chests.... i wonder if there's a minimum threshold.

What's your luck? with 4k+ I got 7 with 2200 zero I really with skill would balance or supercede luck..
I use around 3300 luck and got 2 Prism in 1400 chest. One in dungeon at the first days of event. And one in town.
Tracking the amount by counting how offen i unlock a chest in my Log File.
You aren't alone there. I do the spawn daily at least once but usually twice (multiple chars) and no obelisk. Wouldn't go as far to say I have more banners than I need lol. I did probably upward of 1k chests without any prism; I'd keep going but doing it on ATL (where my luck suit is) feels like too much of a chore. If it's anything like the Obelisk RNG; it's a hard pass for me taking on another absolute grind lol
I managed to get my first prism without a luck suit, then I changed suit and I'm at 2045 luck (not including statue boost) on my thief and have gotten quite a bit of Ethereal prisms during this event, think I've got 4 full sets and a few spares. Seems like a very RNG thing, as I am usually especially unlucky in getting these stealables, been going to Khaldun for 2-3 years and still only managed to get 1 relic, and during the last event I also only got 1 of the stealable totems. But the boss drop in this event still hasn't given me an obelisk, hoping to be able to trade on EU for some of the prism sets though.
