ETA on 11th Anniversary Codes availabilty?

News Flash --> We're close to December now!

How about the specifics of what you will be selling on the code site, how much it will cost and when you will start selling?

A strongly related issue is the inability for new customers to buy products from the UOGamecodes site. While most codes are understandably aimed at existing account holders, any attempt to order the Mondain's Legacy: New Account Code ("This product is intended for NEW PLAYERS ONLY! If you need to upgrade your current account [this includes trial accounts], please purchase the Ultima Online™: Mondain's Legacy Upgrade.") results in a dialogue box requiring a log-in and password for an existing account.

In simpler terms, the website explains that New Account Codes are for new customers only, but on the contrary, will not allow them to be purchased by anyone except existing account holders. EA Support maintains that barring new sign-ups is not a design issue, or any other kind of mistake.

This is a long-standing issue, in case you're wondering why there are so few people who are able to make it into New Haven for the first time.

Ya, the way the site works right now is ridiculous. I was trying to get a code for a friend who wanted to play with me a few months ago. We were never able to get it to work right. We ended up just going to all the different game stores in the area until we found a 9th anny box.

It's worth noting that a new expansion--which is geared to attract new customers--does little good if the game is not for sale.

LOL so true. Hopefully they will get the site fixed soon, or better yet a new site that doesn't look like someone made it in their basement. Seriously... the uogamecodes site looks extremely unprofessional compared to the uo.com site.

Between the site not working right and the fact the UO has no shelf presence anymore, its almost impossible for a new player to get started easily. If this isn't fixed by the time SA is released, I think it will indeed be an epic fail.

I would assume that we will get the gift(s) around the same time the tokens goes on sale. And as far as getting a new account, I think it is silly that when you open a new account they give you the SA expansion but not ML. Come on, its been released for 3 years now. Too bad I didn't buy the copy of the 9th anniversary that I saw about a month ago at one of the big box stores on their clearance table for $3.00.

Kellgory, I too, am from Oklahoma and still live here. Do many people actually ask you if it's a state?

To get back on topic, didn't someone, maybe Jeremy, say that we should get the 11th Anniversay mid December?

I said no we've moved up to mud houses with grass roofs and dirt floors. LOL

The date that is floating around my head is Dec 17... or 11... something with a 1 in front of it. I think it was in a FoF before the Japanese release.

Until college football incorporates a playoff system, I don't consider that real football. I know of 10 year old girls softball leagues that have playoffs, and big bad college football doesn't? I bet Texas is fuming right now. I know Georgia was when they got over looked last year.
