Some of the NPCs dont realise they are at their destination until you actually walk IN/Past/Thru one of the MAIN buildings, Bank etc....
Just an observation, as a few times Ive had one to Trinsic or Cove etc and they didnt click until I entered the bank.
If thats still broken Ive then Gated them back to collect point and repeated, but appreciate as a NON mage, Walker/Follower this may be a null idea.
Also didnt they mention somewhere that SOME of the NPC quests were slightly bugged due to various events having taken part, like the Cove Invasion.....

I did escorts. Lots of escorts. There was no system message to tell me I couldn't gain in Compassion this day :x
I kept having the message "Your action are... blah blah".
I kept having the message "Your action are... blah blah".
Just tried one now from Cove to Serpent's Hold and the NPC recognized where he was, paid up, and my character gained in compassion.
However, I have noticed in the month or so that many times the NPCs just act buggy....don't go through the moongate with you, seem to lose their link with you when they arrive, or just plain poof. There seems to be no pattern to their odd behavior that I've been able to pinpoint either.
The other day I also gained compassion doing an escort in New Haven on one of the Asian shards. Must have been a fluke though because I couldn't get it to happen again. I wonder if maybe I found an NPC that had been hanging around for a long time waiting for help.
