Equippable craftables that we'd like to be in the game, but aren't

I originally started another thread detailing a specific couple of items, but the replies had me thinking that we should compile a list for our sake and the developer's sake. A good reference of a list of items that we, as players, would like to see as equippable craftables.

Before adding to the list, please make sure the item meets the following criterion:

1. The item already exists in the game.
2. The item is equippable.
3. BASE ITEMS ONLY!
4. The item could be obtained regularly within the game by hunting, with the exception of limited time events

That being said, I'll try to update this list as people reply with things that meet the above criterion. The list is as follows so far:

1. Bear hats
2. Deer hats
3. Tribal masks
4. Black staves
5. Pitchforks
6. Wands
7. Orc masks
8. Goblin masks
9. Orc helmets
10. Glasses
11. Skinning Knives
12. Butcher's Knives

Black staff and pitchfork sure but best just to say we need a tink runic to cover the cleaver & knives or even a base wand.(wand dismount and disarm speacials). GM made weapons take up a mod slot without choice. Just brings up the point a GM made weapon DI should be a choice. Hell I'd give up the GM made DI for an auto 120 durability. Made a GM Tonet last night with 7 durability, BS. Then did over 100 weapon BODs rotation to end up with 3 POF, BS.

Want runic pumps ideal. The ability to make bard items with properties that have effect when equipped. I love my bards most of any my hunters. Just seems wrong holding a shield and flailing a weapons about overhead while playing a flute. Sure add in new stuff like a harmonica mount on a plate chest piece or a whistle on a chain for fighter/mage bards. Just a main bard holding what they play would get pumps just like mages do for spell books. The only property unheld instruments would bestow would be slayer pump.

I would like tinkering runics, as would many people. I agree there, but that's something for another post.

On another note, I added "wands" to the list of craftable items.

Carpentry hammers, sewing kits, watering cans (but the latter would have to be added first). The spring herb basket, whispering roses.

I don't get it. Who is going to wear or equip cheese? I mean come on...I agree with all the other ones though. I wear beeswax for my complection.

The irony is that carpentry hammers have weapon stats, and give arms lore gains when made, but can't be equipped.

I think the person failed to understand you meant equippable items only - though flora makes a good point about items that are craftable, that should be equippable, that aren't (a good second list to go in this thread, as they are two sides of the same coin).

Ive even sent that in in the ask the devs section and no response, was disappointing but eh, they'll get to it sooner or later

All of them ought to be craftable by now. The items on your list have been in Sosaria for many many years, the craftsmen of the land should have learned how to make them by now.

So I second this motion!

1. Bear hats
2. Deer hats
3. Tribal masks
4. Black staves
5. Pitchforks
6. Wands
7. Orc masks
8. Goblin masks
9. Orc helmets

And everything wearable/equippable that isn't already on the craft menu.

Why can't beeswax be used to make candles. Even candles with a timer so as not to wreck the artifact and decoration ones

I'm not sure why we're restricting ourselves to equippable items.

So:
10. Every single base item in the game. Server birth "rares" can eat it.

Some examples: dishing drums, Two-Story statues, bushels, horse barding decorations, etc.

I'm limiting it to equippables for the time being because if we compile a list of 257 items that the devs have to implement into the crafting system, that looks overwhelming. But if we have a list of, say, 10-20 items, that's a LOT more doable, and can be done in one or two sittings. So in light of that, I decided to narrow it down to equippables.

It is beyond me what this has to do with this thread.
lol this thread got derailed pretty fast.

I second warpig's cleaver/knives (can we make skinning knives or butcher's? no, right?). add those to big list.
