[Carpentry] Enhancing with Bloodwood

I have a bokuto with the following mods:

50 hit lower attack
50 hit fireball
Spell channeling (no-1)
Very low damage increase

Now I've been told to enhance it with bloodwood... am I looking at a nigh impossible success chance?

I would say 1 in 4 or 1in5 of succeeding

Translated to bows, are those odds of success the same for ash assuming a GM fletcher with a 23/25 bonus/exceptional bonus talisman?
