[Tailoring] Enhancing items

Hi when i try and enhance leatehr armor and am sucsessful I only ever seem to add luck of 40 to the piece. Is that normal?

If you are using spined leather to enhance and it seems that you are then that would be the only amount of luck you can enhance (40). You can't enhance less or more than that. Using other leather will give you no luck but more resists.

Yes, as the above poster said, when you enhance you add the base properties of the material you are enhancing with. You cannot change these properties, they will always remain the same.

Spined adds:

5physical resist and 40luck

Horned adds:

2phys/3fire/2cold/2poison/2energy

Barbed adds:

2phys/1fire/2cold/3poison/4energy.


When you craft an item with a runic you have a chance to boost these properties, so if you make an item with a runic kit out of spined you have a chance of adding extra luck to the pieces.
