Enhancing... Help...

OK... Im pretty new to smithing, but have managed to get myself to Legendary status... Now I would like to begin enhancing many of the weapons I have saved up... the problem is.... I dont know what I should be enhancing with... like which materials to be using on which weapons/armor..

I have been enhancing leather and bows for quite soem time and know that most bows get enhanced with Ash for Swing speed or Yew for HCI and Dmg Increase, also for leather enhancing with spined gives the increase in Luck and Barbed improves the reists..

But with ingots Im just not sure,... I see where Gold improves Luck and the others improve various dmage types to weapons and various resists to armor, but what is best? I know this is kind of a vague question... I have many weapons that have High Damage increase along with Hit Harm.Lightening and such, figured those would make for some nice Pvp weps, just didnt know what I should enhance with.... Also is there a way to add Swing speed to weapons?

ANy help or direction where I can find helpful information is very much appreciated!

Unless you want to add luck you use valorite to enhance armor unless you want more of a specific resist type then you might use verite for more fire. Here is a site with the properties of ingots http://www.uo.com/ageofshadows/feature_magicitem_material.html

As for weapons here is a site that helps you figure out the lowest resist of the creatures you intend to use the weapon on. Although most warriors will have chivalry and use consecrate weapon they don't have endless mana and it is useful to have the slayer weapons with the right damage modifyers. You have to weigh this against the failure rate which isn't as high as with armor.

I personally prefer the charts at VitaDrakonia's site, though I can't say much positive about the owner. Especially with the BOD section, the charts are easy to read and understand.
