Enhanced Client Seems Pretty Decent

I downloaded and installed the Enhanced Client because you need the map files for UOAM and UOCartographer to work. But I logged in to see how it is looking.

The interface has come a long way and it has lots of nice features.

But the models are still far inferior to 2D. If it had 2D models I would probably use it. It is really the only sticking point.

Well for me the pros far outweigh the cons. My new computer and my previous computer would no longer tolerate the old CC and I kept having issues with crashing and freezing up... seriously ran 10x slower than the EC. So I forced myself to switch.... I've kinda gotten over the sprites for the most part except the poor Hiryu... which still looks like a plucked turkey... poor thing.

If they could somehow add an option to use the 2D models with the EC features I think it would be a big hit.

For me I don't care about the graphics I care about the features. There is no contest here.

Yeah, I had downloaded the EC because I'd read that MalagAste had better game performance with it. After toying with it a few minutes and downloading Pinco's UI, I'm hooked. And I was very much a CC fan before.

If you need any help with anything feel free to ask. I use it for everything. I've gotten over most of my grumbling of the graphics but the usability of it I'm hooked on.
