Enhanced Client Journal and Chat

I hadn't played in two years, downloaded both clients again, opened Enhanced Client. I can't find any option for Journal in User Settings or anywhere else, so I can't talk or communicate. I don't see a keybinding for Journal. I tried J, Ctrl-J, Alt-J without success. Has the client changed? Have I simply forgotten a basic? Any advice?

Replying to my own thread, I saw somewhere about deleting a chat file, but I don't have that file to delete. So giving up on EC, I just downloaded Pinco's again and now I have a journal
