Enhacned Client really needs a patch!!

Is anyone else having issues with the spell visuals not working in the new SA client?? Mine worked for a few days, now when my toon casts a spell, nothing.

I hate to say it, but I loved playing on the client, but because (for whatever reason) this is no longer working, I went back to 2d.

A couple months ago (unfortunatly I'm not the techie in our house) but, what makes me wonder period is the fact that it worked...now, with 0 changes it don't. But I wouldn't be supprised if I did something

envetually changed the particel filter setting to none or only to yourself and party?

with that setting you can disable the effects, i wished there is a option for the earthquake and the errors sorry weather effects on screen.

This is the first time I've seen or heard about the laggging over the black screen area. Can you give me some detailed information about your setup? What are your system specs? Are you using two monitors? Is anyone else experiencing this specific issue? Thanks

Actually, this was reported several times during beta on your own boards...


(sorry, I really really hate devs. not being upfront with issues...)

BTW...something that hasnt been adressed...the multi core system issues people are having with large amounts of particle effects. Single core systems are fine (as per reports on beta forums)

I have an

Intel Q6700 (Quad, 8mb L2 OC'd to 2.75ghz) FSB 1066
XFX NVIDIA 9800GT 512MB DDR3
4GB FSB 1066 Ram

And I simply do not have any issues on that machine running ....

XP Pro SP3, Windows 7 RTM 32B, Windows 7 RTM 64B, Runnung either the 2D Classic Client or the Enhanced Client.

UBUNTU (32B) with WineHQ running the 2D Classic Client.

I am not sure it is totally safe to pin the problem exclusively on Multi-Core systems.

What ever it is, it may be a tad bit more subtle than that.

It seems to be only in Felucca, in other Trammelruleset Facets this blackarea problem doenst happen or is instalty going away after recalling into a trammelruleset Facet. I think the new Felucca effect causes this problem, now it should be no big problem to fix it . I think i have also talked much about that, thats all from my side here.

I hate it to play with such a buggy client, the whole animation system of the mobs and enviroment seems to be destroyed. Only thing really can do is crafting, but not chainmale leggins

I agree, I don't want to go back to 2d, but if something isn't fixed soon with the EC I don't have a choice, the lag/stutters/black areas are killing me.

the FoF states they have a full publish slated for the end of this month. hopefully 90gigs of EC improvements.

I just want my damn screen to work right! When I open a gump(Moongate, Spellbook) Well anything really in the freaking game If my cursor hangs over it, IT ACTS like its not there. IT BECOMES ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO MOVE ANYTHING!, I have to hover the mouse round and round until it finds it!

Good lord It makes me mad, I really right now have decide to use EC when im bank sitting, then nothing can go wrong! or can it? lol Nice client just some really BIG issues! and some bigger than mine!

Hehe you are an old 2d player i see , but this is a feature or problem which is caused of the UI system itself. First comes the interface interaction and only in the background is the gamewindow which handles your mouseinputs and if you are over a window it is not like in 2d the only one who hears your input is the window popped up, like in Windows there you can also not drop a icon on the desktop when UO is over it
