It will automatically be one if you have been inactive for over 90 days, have you just had an acct go inactive by chance?

It will automatically change to an EJ account 120 days after it lapses, unless it was a trial account which won't change to an EJ account, it has to be a paid (retail) account. As described from the wiki page below :
"Endless Journey replaced the more traditional 14 day free trial in Spring 2018, publish 99. This option to play without subscription is available not only to newly created accounts but also to veteran accounts that have been inactive for a minimum of 120 days."

That makes sense. It's a paid account started from a trial account. I remember I placed a house using that account, may be it's not yet 120 days.
