Not sure about these I guesses? The nature of the fact is you have to have a server admin look at time stamps to verify the actual winner. It came close. And Merlin is just a mod not an admin....

Your final bid was at 10:59 Pm Eastern Time. Your bid meant that the auction would continue until 11:09 Pm Eastern Time due to the 10 minute rule.

Merlin's final bid was at exactly 11:09 Pm Eastern Time.

There is unfortunately no way to see the exact seconds of a bid, so either Merlin's bid was valid by a few seconds, or it was invalid by a few seconds.

In this case it would be up to the original poster to decide I suppose, whether they intended the 10 minute rule to end at the beginning of the minute, or the end of the minute. End of the minute meaning it would have ended at 11:10 instead of 11:09 and 1 second.

Come on @Kas there's no reason to be name calling just because you lost on item #2, technically the 10 min rule is defined by "The auction for that individual item will continue until ten minutes elapses with no further bids". The time stamp at 11:09AM (not 11:10AM) confirms the bid was valid and the seller accepted as well, @Merlin won this fair and is a very good moderator

I have to agree that Merlin IS a good moderator. We don't always see "eye to eye", but he always has a valid reason for his comments, and I can appreciate that.

Yeh it helps with the noobs on these forums that want to cry and mess with people's auctions and prices. I know I didn't win and I could care less if I did. But I bid fairly and figured the item is worth more than what people are bidding.. if someone would have shut there mouth and just bid this would have never happened... some people have to learn regardless...

There was only one post which was deleted. It said "Says 11:09... which is within 10 minutes." I posted that in response to your claim I went over the 10-minute mark and only deleted it because it came only seconds after the seller declared me the winner and did not see the point in debating the issue any further.

You call me a big baby, but since my winning bid post of 35m, you have made 12 posts complaining about this. As noted, I won the bid fair and square within the context of the 10 minute rule. I really honestly don't understand the problem here, especially if you don't care about the item. Everyone, including myself, respects you as a bidder and member of the trade forums. However, by continuing to moan over this, or imply some type of wrong doing happened here when there was none, it is only at the detriment of your own reputation.

I also suggest you stop the name calling. If you have an issue, you can PM me or ICQ me.

I'm Not moaning over anything and you know this my reputation speaks for itself say what you will to try and make it less but that won't work. I do apologize for the name calling I was a tad upset. The posts just makes the trophies go up. The whole point of this was because of the comment you deleted.... again I could careless about the item... I still respect everyone on the thread regardless. I have done nothing wrong either way. I advice one of the mods to just lock this now thanks.

Just want everyone too understand this is why I got upset, called time stamps etc. to express my feeling towards the situation as he did. But I didn't delete anything. Sorry if I offended anyone everyone have a good weekend
