Most of the fish for pies take a minimum skill of 100, 110 or even 120 to catch. You're just wasting your time there until you are at least 110 skill, as that's the minimum skill for the Unicorn Fish. The big fish thread has the minimums listed in Wein's Google Docs spreadsheet of records.
Actually those fishes are region bound. The Unicorn Fish can only be caught within the Twisted Weald. Ter Mur gives you a chance for the Fairy Salmon.
