EM's Sarthus & Annendora pop in

Greetings folks,

This evening at the councilors guild building in Brit 2 of our new EM's payed us a visit.
Annendora will be our new EM handling weddings. She has a nice quaint house right next to the councilors guild building. Inside you will find a bulletin board that you can post the info regarding your wedding. Also there is a book there describing the types of ceremonies she can perform. There will be engraved rings, a special book, and possibly more ceremonial items for the newlyweds. She seemed very excited about being able to offer these ceremonies and items for our population. There is no charge on these ceremonies or items.

Sarthus is our full time EM handling events and will be decorating his new office, the councilors guild building in brit. Sarthus will try to let the people of L.A. know at least a week in advance of an upcoming event. But be forewarned these are not like any EM's of the past. There may be free event items but please dont expect an item "Every" time. I , myself will be glad to just have events going on.

There was 19 total at one time and a few others that came in after some had left and probly some more people came by after I left, Sarthus and Annendora were still there doing some magics entertaining the crowd and patiently answering questions as best the could.

Also, one or both EMs might be able to pop in Saturday night and/or Sunday night this weekend at that that house (no guarantees, as the one of them will be traveling Friday & Monday, and they would be logging in away from home). So, check out the house at 7 Pacific/9 Central/10 Eastern PM, to see if they were able to make it, if you missed this visit.

I am pleased with the return of events to our shard and it was a pleasure to have met Sarthus and Annendora.

One question I asked was about event items and how they were to be given out. Sarthus replied that not all events will generate items so please do not expect freebies at every event. The system of rewards is still being worked on and the EM's will have strict guidelines governing items. One suggestion was made that any items given be of non artifact quality and perhaps just a recognition reward. I myself like this idea, as a community we do not need any more uber items in game that can be duped and sold for mega gold.

Perhaps Blade or Paul could arrange an interview with Annendora and Sarthus. I would like to see that here on Stratics.:bowdown:
