EM's At Luna Bank!!!!

This afternoon we got a visit from the EM's (EM Aeon and EM Vespera) asking us to help them in picking some names for Event Guilds (opposing teams). There were a few suggestions, but they notified us that they will be "reading" for Guild Names. So if anyone has any ideas lets hear them. They also mentioned a possible event happening sometime (no specifics on when or if it's soon), but they said there will be Pie...Ferret Pie.... So if anyone has any ideas on Events and the names of the Guilds please post here.

EM Aeon returned, and gave me a little more info...

Daniella: Will there bean "Team colours" to signify who is who?
EM Aeon: The teams will have colours, which are open to suggestions.

Daniella: What about the names of the teams?
EM Aeon: The team names, open to suggestions.

Daniella: How will the Event affect different players, of different skills, new or old?
EM Aeon: The playing field is open for all, tactics is required but not necessarily skill, therefore allowing younger players to have an equal chance.

Daniella: Where will the Event take place? How will it stop people from coming in to ruin the event?
EM Aeon: The Event will be held in Fel. The fighting will be limited to a certain area.

Daniella: Is it open for Red Characters?
EM Aeon: The Event is open for Red characters.

Daniella: Will there be a prize for the winning team?
EM Aeon: No prize "as such" for the winning team. Maybe a Trophy or something.

Daniella: How much notice will be given before the event?
EM Aeon: Atleast one weeks notice will be given prior to the event.

Daniella: Will the Event be held in an Arena or just a random place?
EM Aeon: The event will not be held in a random place it will be in an Arena.

Daniella: Will the Arena be secure so people can't get in to ruin the event?
EM Aeon: Precaustions will be taken. The area will be Secure.

EM Aeon: If it runs well it may become a regular thing.

Wild Rose: Will Faction members be able to join in on the event?
EM Aeon: Factions will be tested first to see how it plays out.

Daniella: Will Character's skill effect the game play?
EM Aeon: Character skills will effect how things turn out.

Daniella: Will players with a slow connection be effected?
EM Aeon: Slow con wont effect your gameplay to badly.

I'm not sure... They didn't give much info, but a few people we're wondering the same thing. I just suggested maybe you could make other characters of yours (eg: a mule char) the gm temporarily for whatever they are planning. Oh and one of the EM's said they may make a re-appearance later on.

I recall secure area's before in Fel for events but that did not stop the grief or the theft by the scripters of char items etc
there will be no difference here why is it not held in tram or even Malas for that matter
as for reds pfft stay where you belong

I don't have any mule characters. I don't know which of my characters to un-guild for it.. hmm, it'll probably be some bash-a-thon due to the required guild mechanics.

Jealousy is a curse.

If it's in fel you can pretty much bank on it being:

A. PvP.
B. Stealing.
C. Something like a pet fight e.g greater drag v greater drag.

EM Aeon: Slow con wont effect your gameplay to badly.

However this suggests it wont require any "real time thinking" and most of it will be luck. Anyway if there is no prize, I'll probably go ruin it just to show EA how stupid they are for there new proposed prize system. Go ahead, flame me, tell me how the EM's have nothing to do with it... when they can clearly voice there opinion about it and it would be heard and if they can't well then it just show's EA is a joke and deserves this kind of treatment.

Yeah we use it here to von.
But ignore them, water off a ducks back.
When they start doing something other then for themselves their opinions may become valid then.
Been doing this for more then 4 years now. And granted there hasnt been alot to report on lately. Which is good and bad, good because ive had alot to deal with in RL and havnt had time to even play UO lately, but bad cause nothings happening!!

Kudos for her posting it up, all I was doing was saying that’s the sort of thing that can be emailed in to get it made up all fancy and up on the front page. (And yes teeshy I can just link it back to this thread now that the forums are different and don’t do duplicate copies like we used to. Although I am starting to wonder why I bother)
I didn’t say I don’t play at all. I just haven’t had the time lately. I still log in on occasion get some ggs and nosey around see if anything has been happening. Not had much longer then 10mins to be on at a time.
