I have no problems dying, I just hate it when he teleports us somewhere and you insta die....
I mean, its the BEGINNING of the event, he's done telling us the details and lets us loose. You say the magic phrase to gain access and OH NO! my screen lost all its color! no...wait...nevermind...im dead....
You have no idea what killed you or HOW cause theres a swarm of monsters at the entrance....this reminds me of a certain someone from another server....

personally, I don't like diein at... every... fightin... event I go to. but if there is a good story and everyone is well organized then I dont mind it as much. but as I stand, no matter my vote I end up diein a few times anyway, so I'll let the EMTs know I am comein ahead of time.

Well, the last few PvM events felt a bit easy to me. I remember the one where there were engineers or something was tough, because you died the second you got in the room, and there was that healer that would charge you for a res.

I wouldn't mind them being harder, but I'd also feel more purpose if there's a good story behind it.

lol was it a lag issue or ... you're not saying ... no ... you think it was designed to happen that way ?

It wasn't lag, really. I forget what the thing was about, but there were engineers who did some sort of area effect chain lightning that wiped out scores of people. To make things worse, the first room was a locked one that required a puzzle to be solved, provided one could live that long.

I remember that fight well. It kicked all of us in the arse. I had to finally give up on trying to keep players healed and rezzed due to my own repeated deaths. I had a total blast at that battle and if I remember correctly, we followed it up with a pie fight. *grin*

All hail the Porcelain Throne!!! I still look upon that Ivory Throne and the faithful supporters with a fond smile filled with grand memories. Operation Royal Flush is definitely one of my "Top 10" in UO moments. The number of forces just for a blinkin' miniscule outhouse on the Skara Brae Fairegrounds, a.k.a. the Porcelain Throne was INSANE and so classic!

The EM's really have a great sense of humor, and the amount of carnage, bodies, and insurance money that was part of the "Operation Royal Flush" storyline is just blinkin' hilarious.

I have no idea what that ballot box is for, but did cast my vote! I'm excited and curious what shenanigans Seppo (Bandana!!!) has in store for us.

That is the BEST description I've seen yet! Evil spaghetti...I'm still laughing. And that screen shot has to be one of the best ever. I am betting that our EVIL Seppo was sitting there laughing maniacally the whole time!

I don't know about anyone else but I was REZ KILLED too many times to count so it was a doubly evil event. LOL

I want a death robe that says "I was rez killed by the Evil Seppo's Evil Spaghetti!" That or one that says "I was too stupid to go to another room to get rezed so I wouldn't get rez killed by the Evil Seppo's Evil Spaghetti!"
