[EM News] Events pushed back by one day

Hi guys. Due to the extended downtime for the servers that is coming up at 7:00 p.m. EDT and the possibilty that some players may experience hiccups when they come back, we are going to postpone the events scheduled for tonight and tomorrow by one day.

The "sharp object throwing while drinking" event will take place tomorrow night (Saturday) at 6 p.m. PDT/9 p.m. EDT.

The "test your powers of observation" event will take place on Sunday at 4 p.m. PDT/7 p.m. EDT followed by the Q&A with the EM's at the counselor hall.

Both events will kick off from the area above Luna Bank and we hope to see you there! We will be updating the EM Website, Event Announcer in Luna and all lanterns as well but please help us spread the word if you know of anyone who might not see one of those things.

Soooo, it's 30 minutes til showtime and we just found out the shards are coming down and expect to be down about an hour. We are going to monitor progress and see if we can still run this when the shards come up. We will keep you all posted as we hear anything.

Part 1 took place when the shards came back. Part 2 will, hopefully, go off on Sunday at 4 p.m. PDT/7 p.m. EDT.

it really was not fair to the majority of players the way you conducted the event Faine, most of us figured the shards were down an hour since this is what was posted on ultima online's main website, you did not honor this 1 hour grace period which turned out to be much shorter, and the second the shards came up you went ahead with the event, screwing a ton of good people out of amazing items, you're one of my favorite ems but really you did not use any common sense or care about the community in doing this event, and you really should make it up to everyone, i emailed you and mesanna complaining about the event but have not received a response back yet

Err how the hell did people get to know Mesanna was coming???? nothing in the post above??? can only be inside information?? this is wrong!! Put it this way if i played origin as my main shard and there had been a once in a blue moon mesanna visit.... i would be very very cheesed off if it had not been announced!!!!!
