Queen Dawn rubbed her forehead tiredly where a headache was starting to form and scowled across the desk at Dacil.
"So you are saying that no one has been able to persuade the orc armorer to talk?" she asked.
Dacil pushed a goblet of water across the desk before replying. "I'm afraid not Your Majesty. He seems uncommonly stubborn and arrogant. Every Inquisitor sent to talk with him has come back frustrated and recommending that we execute him forthwith."
Dawn considered her options. She knew she couldn't very well execute the pest without a trial and, so far, there wasn't even enough evidence to bring him up on charges. If they did not discover some indication of foul play soon, she knew she would have to release Margut and the Virtues only knew what might come of that.
"Very well. Perhaps it's time to change tactics a bit. Take a larger force to the prison to question him. See if he can be intimidated by numbers. Failing that, perhaps there's someone in his circle who might be willing to talk. We must find out who these arms are for and what is behind this all," Dawn stated firmly.
"As you command," Dacil nodded.
