ElF is Recruiting!

The queen of the elves looked out over the parapet of her keep at the crumbled buildings and grassy fields where some structures once stood. She could still see the ghosts of the past gathering for battle or having a drink of fine elven wine at the Tel'ereg ar' Cu tavern, but now, she was alone to reign over a fallen realm.

This will not do, she thought. It was time to find her wandering kin and their human and gargoyle allies...

It was time to rebuild the Ancient Order and forge a new legacy for the land of Eldador.

The Ancient Order of Elves is one of Pacific's oldest active roleplaying guilds, existing in varied numbers for over eleven years. We are seeking to recruit active players who want to be a part of our "family" and have a good time in the game.

ElF is currently small, but still offers a unique experience. It is primarily an event based guild, and provide advancement/leadership opprotunities to those willing to host and help host interguild and public events. While there is no age restriction, our members are mature in personality and usually eager to help others in need. We do not have any skill or race limitations and encourage both new and veteran players to apply for membership.

We are a roleplaying guild with a great deal of player created lore, and we provide lessons for interested folks that would like to give it a shot. It doesn't matter if you've roleplayed before or not, we're willing to help when needed.

The Ancient Order of Elves maintains an up-to-date website and forum with member listings. Medals are awarded based on participation, aiding others, story writing, roleplaying, pvp, and length of time in the guild.

Those interested can apply for membership with the application on our site:

I can also be contacted via ICQ at 30440477 or by e-mail: [email protected]

*rp post*

Hakeem put down his mortar and pestle. The little ferret, his only companion these days, sat waiting for a crumb that didn't come. The tiny scroll it had brought, gave him mixed emotions.
His days as a ranger had brought him so much happiness.
Fall Carnivals with the elves where he had won the " fight a White Worm"contest, fighting with them in Trinsic and Cove, fighting against them in Skara Brae.
He had been so young, called a different name, when he had first met Sarlock in Trinsic. The dragon hordes had smashed the city and it's defenders, so many beasts and people lay dead. But the Elven king had stood his ground with no aid in sight, except for a humble ranger-to-be with a fast bandage and a slow bow.

But talk of dwindling ranks, seeking new friends to replace the lost. Sad days. Where were Sarlock and Sheridan now. How long had it been since he had seen Queen Gwendlyn? 5 years? more?
Gone now is Que'llar Shobilar, always evil but their honor showed through. The Mighty Orcs of Kor no longer held sway in the forests, the invasion of Britain was the last time he had seen the orc Varug.
Wandering through cove was surreal. The Citadel no longer stood at the gates. His beloved wifes home and the Lost Souls Tavern also gone. No post office and meeting hall overlooked the water. The tiny shop and smithy where James, mistletoe, Anthony, and Kinky had toiled to arm their friends also gone. Jakes too was gone, even Grandpa and Elyk.
Taking a long ride on Goliath, the ancient Swamp dragon could barely stand these days, he passed the remnants of the elves once great city.
Strangers ask why he hid himself away, incognito. He had lost too much.
He pressed a small rose into a book, and lay it upon the steps. Good luck to you Joy, may lights shine in your home forever, for the lost to find their way.
