Eighth Age Macros- No Program Files.

Hi All,
The latest set of discs that I had to do an install was the eighth age. (two yr break) I used to run UO on decent desktop w/ XP. Now I am using a new laptop with vista to play UO. I can somewhat remember how to copy macros to other chars but when I go to program files>eagames>uoeighthage, there is no desktop folder..... I'm not sure why or what is going on but I have no way to copy macros to my other chars... I'm wondering maybe if it wasnt installed or if vista isn't running UO in admin mode or what but its frusterating because I need to get this straight to figure out my nostromo pad working, or maybe i don't, never used one before. none the less I still want to figure out why there is no desktop folder.

Thanks for your help

Run a search of your hard drive for folders with your character names, I think they've been moved under Documents and Settings > user profiles, but if you just search you'll find them.

That was the issue, Thank you so much for your help! It's been driving me nuts for the past few weeks!

Although, is there a way to simply move the entire desktop folder with all my chars into the EA folder? for easy access instead of searching each char every time I want to copy or change something?

Once you locate one, they should all be in the same place. I wouldn't just copy all your character files however, if you had an older version there might be files that are not up to date with the current client. Once you've logged in with all your characters you can go back to that location and copy all your macro files to the new character folders.
