(Player Event) ECL Season Four, Match 12 - Monday 5 November, 8PM UK Time

Competing with the UK real-life fireworks, we reach the final match of Season 4 of the ECL! A stunning performance through the season means we have a winner (but it could still be a joint winner!) already, but there's a lot of competition for the other medals, the league standings are :

Using the new 'Horn of Plenty' to collect some pet turkeys (sadly they won't have time to bond before the match, so they may have to wait until next season to make their appearance!) means there's a ton of food available for the hungrier audience members, plus a competition for a small prize will be held, alongside the standard craziness of the fights, betting and general chat.

So we have our champion for Season Four, congratulations to Poison Ivy and her owner Diddlysquat (who has actually owned and trained the champion or joint champion for every season to date!). Strong challenges from Sakura and Lyra (both owned by Kou of Trinsic), and joint third Valoria's Own Liza (owned and trained by Shaan Risenfyre of Valoria) made for a very close season, at one point in the evening we were looking at possibly six birds in joint third place and shared second and first places too, so it really did all come down to the final evening's fights. (Quiet panic was caused by that possibility, I have a few prizes ready for winners but that many would have been a bit tricky!)​

Congratulations to all the fighters and their keepers, we now take a short break from the Chicken League (although not from the Mage Poker games) until season 5 begins on December 3rd, then December 17th, break for the Christmas and New Year festivities and continue on 7 January. Meanwhile we'll carry on having the Mage Poker matches on Monday nights and at some point in the month maybe move to a new location, just across the road from the current arena!​
