EC patcher bugged, needs urgent fix!!!

EC patcher is messed up, it wont start, or time out. I can play the EC just fine if I bypass the patcher. LOVE the EC, cant and wont go back. Fix the patcher. Big problem is how to get the patcher fixed if the patcher is needed to fix the broken patcher....

Where can i contact EA/Mythic to get this bug addressed if they don't already know about it...? Anyone else unable to get it to work since last patch?

If this happens again you can allways bypass the patcher and launch the gameclient directly with the exe file in the game folder

Oh and btw to all you CC lovers... the EC is faster than the old client so if you want to compete in pvp you better make the switch

Ah, would the new insurance gump not count as the lastest addon for the classic client? Just asking, does not matter to me, play whichever you enjoy as long as you are p(l)aying an account UO stays open that much longer.

I play 2D aswell...old style !

EC makes me want to puke...the interface reminds me of WoW.
And the graphics...my horse seems to "float" when it runs....freaks me out.
Not to mention my paperdoll looks like crap.
My hair looks like that of a grease monkey in EC.

While in 2d , i have thick wavy hair.

Thanks for the suggestion to launch the client directly. That was helpful. Interestingly enough, the patcher is patching again, after I patched it yesterday and my client was showing all the patched changes the last couple of hours. Weirdness!

I happily continue playing the EC

I know it cant compete with speedhack, but if you make a horse race from point A to B in game one using CC and one using EC with the same ping time (Best tested on same internet connection with 2 computers) you will see that the EC runs about 10% faster than the CC.
