EC macro for firing cannons?

has anyone found out how to make a macro in EC to fire and prep cannons these days?
The actions menu features a whole page with cannons (1-9) but I couldn't figure out how to make them fire/prep.
Maybe someone else was smarter than me?

I am just now, getting into cannons, and seem just as lost.

I think pincos has one build in haven't tried it yet as I'm just planning on using a ship in a long long time...

You can bind a macro to say 'fire port/starboard broadside.'

could you give an example of how that would look in EC? There is a verbal command to fire port and starboard?
