I've read over some of the issues people are having with the EC (which I stopped DLing - takes to long on my connection - 6 hours and still got stuff to patch!!) and realized, some of them are in the Classic as well!!
So... comparing to Hawkeye's list here, I'm wanting to alert the devs...
Of note
- Yes I reported several via email, a few to GMs in game as well.
- I am running a duo-core frankenstein (home build) machine with 4gb ram and a geforce gtx 285 vid card with sprint's wireless/broadband
- usually run only ICQ, UOAM & UOClassic when I game. Sometimes I will have a browser window open (FF only) when checking Stratics.
Also my gargoyle character rubber-bands everywhere when flying. Got so I hardly log on with her until there are fixes.
And a super major annoyance that I had read was (??) an EC issue that was patched, but is live in the Classic:
Characters with same names on same shard but with different skills have to go and reset their skills gump. Macros cross over as well after resetting. Is like the characters are "one" in their settings - altho they are set up differently.
IE:
Setup Char A with F1 to heal self (w/bandies)
Login to Char B, F1 is set to heal self (w/bandies)
Change Char B F1 to cast Greater Heal/Target Self
Login to Char A, F1 is changed to cast Greater Heal/Target Self!!!

Especially now with the Halloween Quest for the red sparklies... rubber-band like mad with the sparklies.Massive rubber-banding issues. Character bounces back and gets stuck in all kinds of places. For example: A flying Gargoyle trying to cross a bridge. It is difficult to aim for the bridge anyway (since the flying Gargoyle is lifted up from the ground), and if it misses the bridge, it bounces back and sometimes even gets stuck.
I don't see it on my home shard (napa), but definitely when I visit friend on ATL.. or when Euro is crowded whilst I do some RP there. Terrible when I think I'm trying to cast a heal and wind up too far away from someone during pvp.Rubber-banding lag, especially when running in populated areas. Character bounces back several tiles when casting a spell.
Why is that?Inside the Circle of Transparency, objects don't highlight when you move the mouse over them.
I've seen this in the client in the past (during the original KR launch), and is back. Its almost like the screen doesn't redraw accurately. If I run two screens away, the labels are gone. Now remember, this is the CLASSIC mode (UO2d).Shift+Ctrl labels cannot be closed reliably, especially when there are many objects/corpses on the screen.
Same in the classic. And those that cannot be looted sometimes have the word "CORPSE" in there which you can drag, but it disappears. I've waited a bit and gone back to those corpses before they decay, and are still the same. Sometimes, when other corpses decay, the loot will appear. Is almost like there is a set limit (loot cap?) affecting the drops.Sometimes when multiple corpses are on the screen, some corpses can be opened but cannot be looted.
