30 second delay on pet balls in fel.
Most tamers would vanish from pvp and go back to tram!!
Hell and if thats too extreme how about only when the tamers flags on someone!!!! Seems simple to me

And we need another thread on this subject why exactly?

Well that other thread is getting kinda long I guess, and one starts to wonder if what you write will get blown over because its part of a 6-page forum thread.

I have a post in the other thread that says something similar to the original post here, although I go into a bit more detail on it and don't wholly commit to the pet ball fix as being THE fix. I just say that if it's done through the pet balls, it should affect the lamer-tamer niche specifically, and I work through 2 means that might achieve that.

Sure a 30 second delay on pets in fel would be ok IF:

A warrior had a 30 second delay in being able to hit someone they flag on

or

A mage has a 30 second delay on being able to target someone with the spell they cast

or

Well you get the idea...

To quote Gunney Highway in Heartbreak Ridge "Improvise, Overcome and adapt".. I am all for a message being shown when a tamer uses pet balls (like the bola deal) but ANY delay in the pet appearing OR listening to commands is sheer lunacy.

thats ok if my warrior and mage get there dmg doubled , get the abillty to insta teleport around without getting interrupted EVER and the same goes for the abillity to insta recall .

Ohh yeah and if you sick a pet on someone when you in a house , you get insta teleported to the pet , and cant enter the house again as long as the pet and you are still flaged

An even easier solution, without interjection from the devs, just become a more tactful player, outwit the enemy. It can be done, just takes thinking.

This statement is so ignorant, do warriors get to hit for 60-70 damage? Do mages get to caste 4 spells at once from 3 screens away? Stop comparing apples to oranges, tamers are over powered and dont belong in pvp, stop arguing against it, your not gonna stop progress.

You obviously have no idea what your talking about, since you dont realise how incredibly advantagous tamers are, one minutes your there by yourself, the next you have a beetle on you that was just summoned out of nowhere by a hidden person in animal form, after the initial shock of being bitten, possibly poisoned and or para'd you now have to run while they run next you hitting their macro that summons their pet ( while they are still running) and all kills you and most the time the animal wont hit you but most times it will cast spells even as you continue to run.

Bottem line: Pets hit harder than warriors, cast better than mages and hit you for more damage on the run than an archer, so prove to me sir how that is fair.

You guys say outsmart your target, First off yeah you could throw on music and peacemaking, course than only keeps you from getting killed ,it in no way helps you kill the tamer, Ok OK so slap on music, peace, track, detect, thats nice but now what you gonna use to kill him. Also even if that did work you can only kill one type of character, the stealth tamer, where as everyone else can fight everyone.

Oh and of course the new greater dragons cant be peaced, they have a difficulty of over 140 so you need 120/120 and a slayer instrument to even try, explain to me how to outsmart that.

Seen it happen with a few archers on Great Lakes hitting me wearing an all 70 suit

Also seen this happen on great lakes, not nesacally 4 spells, but I have been hit by 2 flamstrikes at teh smae time with 2 graphics and it was only 1 person who magically skiped infront of me from a screen and a half away

your examples are laughable at best, as well as somehow a mounted archer in full run getting off a moveing shot with a regular crossbow, ya I have seen it happen also

Sorry,
A pet-ball isnt a offensive weapon. Its a silly ball. It was made to help the tamer move through dungeons and find stuck or lost pets.

Its not designed for battle. Your arguement is very weak. It should be more like this

Mage Casts
Warrior Swings
Tamers Says KILL.

Those 3 are equal. If we were saying delay 30 seconds on the KILL command, then Id agree with you.

A pet ball is like a wand is like sacred journey.

Wand has DELAY
Sacred Journey (when in battle) has long DELAY
Pet-ball NEEDS A DELAY A VERY LONG ONE.

As soon as your wand and runebook get stuck on something and you have to go back and fetch them, I will agree with you.

You tamers make the weakest arguments.
The pvp community wants a delay on petballs during pvp. If we have our way you will only have a delay on petballs during pvp. Basically if you are flagged the pet ball has a delay of some kind, this is not unreasonable.

You pet isnt going to get stuck every 10 seconds. Right? A delay wont harm you.
Youll be able to have the benefit with a delay.

Pet stuck.
Move to safety.
Recall pet.
1 minute timer is now on.
Engage battle in safer place.
1 minute elapse.

I just dont see the situation where your pet is going to be stuck every 10 seconds that a timer would bother you. Give me a concrete example and I might understand.
