This afternoon after dinner was finished, my daughter and I ventured outside to hide Easter eggs for the 2 kiddies and my (Baciver's) cat comes up and starts following me around, rubbing up against me and meowing rather loudly. I thought maybe she wanted the Easter eggs but she paid no attention to them when I layed them down or when I offered her one.
Soon she runs off and a minete later I hear this loud crying sound and my daughter says "what in the world is that?" I said, "Im not sure, but it sounds like baby bunnies." So we walk toward the noise and low and behold, there is Criss, the cat, in a large flower pot, giving birth to kittens!
She ended up with 3 babies and we named them for Easter. The Black one is Bunnie, the Calico is Jellybean, and the Orange one is Peeps.
We didnt even know she was expecting babies because she has always been a bit pudgy and has never had kittens before, so it was a great surprise for Easter!
