This is the one I use on the computer in the machine shop when working on tractors etc. The one up at the house is more shiny and LOL not as much dust and slag splatter on the keyboard :)

LOL electric fence splice/connector with a old locknut for additional weight :) It was carefully thought out and engineered to the highest technical standards. Designed to have the exact weight needed to hold the macro key down and not overload the poor B key. This feat of modern engineering allows me to turn wrenches and still watch the screen and be attended :)

Now I need to design one for the computer in the tractor........ That does not bounce off the keyboard every 10 feet of travel :)

Haha! Great! I think Homer Simpson once figured out a comparable technique with a toy-bird picking on the key... His way to do "home office"

I do blow that keyboard out with the air compressor every few weeks........ Learned the hard way not to use 300 pounds of air though.......... it blows the keys off the keyboard and then I have to find all the keys and put them back on :( 120 pounds of air at 2-3 quick burst does the trick though for the keyboard and the tower. Looks like a mushroom cloud when I De-Dust the shop computer :)

Funny thing is... that's still a violation of the terms of service..

Can't fix tractors and sit there and baby sit your game.. any amount of mechanical afk stuff is just bad as anything else.. ask hoffs. He's the law round these parts...

Well... We are just kidding around. And who did never park in a non-parking area for 20min hoping of not getting caught?

Who is free of any sins might throw the first stone ( see Bible or something)

Hoffs the law? Maybe your law lol, but Hoffs means nothing to me, never has and never will. Just another player with a bit more arrogance than most in my book.

LOL I have a broken keyboard screwed to the wall above shop desk that not only serves to warn hired hands why its not good to make the boss angry. It also served as a good guide for putting the keys back on in order. For the record the keyboard I threw did miss the hired hands head by a inch or two, I had not achieved legendary throwing at that time :) Amazing part cracked the keyboard the entire length and only 1/3 of the keys worked after that....... but not one single key came off that old keyboard. I did manage to catch the hired hand before he got back to his car and educate him about the situation and properly dismiss him. Good rule of thumb for kids now days........ Don't get mouthy with the guy that signs your paycheck and tell him you are going to kick his old ass. There are a few of us that will take you up on it :) Then you gotta live with the shame that a old man kicked your ass ;)

Never been arrogant to me. On the contrary: Most generous and sociable. And the same I did experience with you. But I am still new to Siege and don't know its history ;-)

Can't say that I have had any interaction with Hoffs over the years aside from the occasional GC so I might have a false impression based on limited contact. But comments like Hoffs is the law don't do much to change that impression :) LOL I am not exactly the most socialable player on Siege and rarely do I see or am I seen by anyone else. Heck I would probably have never talked to you if I had not seen you snooping around the Island ;0

There are laws and rules if you want to be in Gilfane. Every society needs them in order to get along. Those of us who appreciate the rules loves Hoffs and loves playing in Gilfane! No need to go bashing him!!!

And yes I have been lurking on Siege for a long long time :) LOL just the lower the population got the more exposed I became and I did eat a few name changes to make the Tyraths so I had the same name as my main prodo toons.

Glad you have your lord and master lap dog. But I am not GIL and Hoffs does not rule over me.

That being said GIL means as much to me as any other guild NOTHING. I do my thing and don't bother anyone. But I will be damned if I am going to be told GIL and Hoffs are the law anymore than Diablow and Crew were the law.

Not sure how or why this turned into a bash Hoffs or Gilfane thread. Gilfane does NOT try to impose our belief system onto others. I have to say we have a great time on Siege! We have a great community that I don't see anywhere else.

And hey I got a neighbor across the Channel that I like :) Really am glad to see those two spots utilized and looking good. Although I miss your far Southern house LOL it kind of became a point of refrence when I was sailing to the house or to the floating emporium. Time to go North if going home or NE if going to the emporium. It was also my stopping point to get along shore and make repairs. LOL that was before I ever met you though.

""ask hoffs. He's the law round these parts"" Jamison. I did not invoke GIL or Hoffs, neither am I bashing either. I am simply stating that GIL and Hoffs mean so much as fart gas to me and that I am not beholden to GIL or Hoffs or any other Guild. You seem to have a real problem with that and somehow make it GIL bashing. If expressing my opinion that Hoffs seems a bit more arrogant than the average player is bashing......... Yeah I am sensing some passive aggressive defense manifesting on GILs part here for something that is simply my opinion based on limited observation over the years.

Seems to Jamison was doing nothing more than expressing an opinion as well, and believe it or not not everyone gets all warm and fuzzy about GIL.

I believe most guilds do have rules, guilds are differents. I'm glad some like the freedom in TDO, would be great to see a lot more guilds.

LOL I just don't do the guild thing well, I like to do whatever catches my attention. Even in its hey day when zoog had a couple hundred members over 4 shards the members pretty much did whatever and our central point was contributing to the collecting of Zoogies, Running powder and keeping the Vendor stocked Some of us did a lot more than others, we also occasionally would get together and do champs, the Dread horns or Doom runs. I transferred all the prodo Zoogies from those day to one shard in one of the old guild houses 31 stacks of 60,000 Zoogies is still impressive. LOL I will never run off 930,000 translocation powder from those Zoogies that would be what around 9,300 powder runs. But aside from myself the ZOOG to log in was in 2011 on Prodo and 2014 on Siege. Still love the concept of ZOOG and how we all worked together back in the day.......... But it takes a special kind of stupid to be in a guild devoted to The Zoogie Fungus :) Made one heck of a lot of gold though from LBR up till 2010. No ZOOG ever cried about being poor ;) Tried a few years ago to get ZOOG going on Siege again but couldn't find enough people that had that special kind of stupid, although a few gave it a whirl mainly to earn some fast cash to get started on Siege.

To be honest I will probably never find out one way or another. If I have made it this many years without talking to Hoffs in game I doubt I will talk to Hoffs in the next 18 years. Of Course I don't think I have ran across Kelmo in game either but I hear the guy is a real A hole ;)
