I have purchased 2 EA game cards. It is the card shown on the lower right hand side of the UO Herald page [uoherald][I didn't put html, as I'm not sure if they are allowed]. After entering one at Origin store, and not finding a game time code for Ultima Online [they have warhammer game time available, but noUO game time]. I then went to the accounts page at eamythic. I tried entering the card code on the page that said "reactivate a closed account", I kept getting "invalid code". I then went to activate key. Again invalid code.
So I called tech support. The guy I got couldn't move past "Lords of Ultima". He had no clue about Ultima onlines existence. I told him I don't care about a stupid web browser based game. The game I am concerned about is the one created by Richard Garriott under Origin systems and butchered by EA. That is the only Ultima Online game I know. He paused, sounded very confused. I had to hang up as my frustration level was hitting the max.

So can anyone here help? Can I use the advertised card to buy UO game time in a 30 day block of time?
I discovered I can use a card called "Ultimate Game card", and goto paybycash to get game time codes.

Thank you.

This thread can be locked/closed. I just got off of a chat session with someone. They told me the EA game card is only good with the games shown at the origin site, or with what ever the search shows up in the store. So I guess I can buy the ship content pack for my account, but other then that the EA cards are worthless to UO.

Sorry for the late reply, but if you look at the site it clearly states what games you can use the card for.

EA Game Cards

For those of you who haven't been to that page, it specifically states and lists the games the card supports.

If you want to purchase game time for Ultima Online, UO Game Code Store - Product Details

You can get everything you need for UO right there.

I was going by what I saw. And what I saw, it looked like I could use the EA game card to buy game time.
IMO, they need to put a disclaimer on the EA store saying the card can't be used to buy UO game time, or they should [which is the better option] sell UO game time in 30 day blocks] just like they do warhammer.

I hate the fact that EA makes it so hard to get game time for UO. Except one. That one being using the Ultimate Game card and buying game time through paybycash, and a higher cost.
I rather not to use a credit card online, but instead game cards. That is how we paid for Rift, WOW, and other games and iTunes. That is why I think it would be a good move to allow the EA game card to purchase UO game time.

I know, what is said here doesn't carry much weight.

Thank you foe responding, how ever.
